O Milagre de Santa Luzia é uma viagem pelo Brasil que toca sanfona conduzida por Dominguinhos, que foi um dos principais sanfoneiros país e que morreu no dia 23/07/2013. Entre encontros acompanhados de muita música e reunindo depoimentos dos mais representativos sanfoneiros brasileiros, o filme faz um mapeamento cultural das diferentes regiões do país onde a sanfona se estabeleceu.
A película guarda preciosos registros de importantes personalidades da música popular brasileira, como o poeta Patativa do Assaré, Sivuca e Mário Zan, falecidos pouco tempo depois de sua participação no filme.
O documentário, que marca a estreia de Sérgio Roizenblit na direção de um longa-metragem, foi vencedor do Candango de Melhor Trilha Sonora e do Prêmio Vagalume de Melhor Filme no 41º Festival de Brasília do Cinema Brasileiro.
