In 1988, Branka Parlic made the first recording in the former Yugoslavia of Erik Satie's piano works, titled Initiés. This was followed by concerts in Novi Sad, Belgrade and Ljubljana (Slovenia). The record had an exceptionally good reception all over the former Yugoslavia. The same year she had participation in the recording Disillusioned! by Mitar Subotic alias Rex Ilusivii featuring featuring "Thanx Mr. Rorschach" - 10 ambients on Satie's music.
In 1999 she added six new piano pieces to the Initiés and released with the title Initiés '88 - Initiés '99. This recording was followed by concerts in Belgrade, Nis, Novi Sad, Podgorica (Montenegro), Banja Luka, Belgrade and Cacak.
