Friday, 19 September 2003 - renowned Brazilian composer, singer and guitarist Gilberto Gil performed in the General Assembly Hall to honour the memory of those who lost their lives in the attack on the United Nations compound in Baghdad, Iraq, on 19 August 2003 and to mark the occasion of the International Day of Peace (21 September).
